Dr Hillel New is involved in educating Australian dentists, particularly in the field of Implant Dentistry. He has lectured, conducted training workshops, mentor programs, surgical demonstrations all over Australia for a large array of Implant manufacturers.
Dr New works closely with the ‘3M’ company and was a contracted “Key Opinion Leader (KOL)” in the past for them, conducting surgical certification courses for the 3M ‘Mini Dental Implant’ Range (3M ESPE MDIs) used in denture stabilisation.
The Swiss Implant Company ‘Straumann Implants’ also contracted Dr. New to provide their ‘Full Day – Implant Treatment Planning & Restorative Techniques Course” (that he wrote), in Victoria and New South Wales.
Dr New in the past conducted implant mentor programs for ‘Nobel Biocare’, a Swedish implant company, and has trained well over 50 dentists in dental implant procedures. Back in 2006 he was the first dental surgeon to perform a live implant surgery demonstration at Nobel Biocare’s Victorian training centre in South Melbourne.
The South African implant manufacturer ‘Southern Implants’ and the US company ‘3I’ have also called on Dr New’s expertise in educating general dentists in the benefit of their individual dental implant systems.
By arrangement, Dr Hillel New teaches individuals or groups of dentists in both the prosthetic and surgical phases of implant treatment.
